Meet Your Allies: Victoria Smith

Many of our Patient Safety Observers (PSOs) have long-term goals of working in the healthcare industry. They demonstrate their commitment by keeping patients safe through VirtuAlly’s Continuous Virtual Monitoring system.

One of our PSOs, Victoria Smith, has been with us for over one year.  Here’s a little more about her:

What were you doing before you joined the VirtuAlly team?

I was a student before VirtuAlly.

What are your goals for the future?

I’m looking to continue to grow as a medical professional with VirtuAlly!

What is your favorite part about working as a PSO?

Flexible schedules are extremely helpful with my little one, and learning how to work with different medical professionals as I grow in my career path.

What has been your most rewarding experience working as a PSO?

Connecting with a family member of a patient recently. She and I would talk every shift I was with her loved one, and we felt like a team working together to keep him safe until discharge.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Being a mama. I have a very active 1.5 year old son at home who keeps me very busy.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Vanilla with Reese’s Cups!

Thank you, Victoria, for all you do.
